Jacklyne Aput has six (6) years of teaching experience and over 12 years of experience in administrative work directly involved with university students and staff. She also has over twelve years of senior management, administrative and operation experience. She is immensely passionate about her roles and is ready to use creative management methods designed to achieve optimum levels of service. She is the registrar research, innovation and enterprise, a member of the university strategic plan, Quality Assurance Team, Performance Contract and Research Committee. She is the faculty secretary of the National Cohesion and Values Committee and a representative to the university committee on corruption and public complaints. She is dedicated, collaborative and a professional team player who attains her sense of pride from contributions by a team pulling at the same direction.
She is part of the team that initiated and saw the establishment and launch of the African Center of American Studies at the university. She is also one of the pioneers of the Nairobi Sister City Diplomacy. She is actively involved in research on matters of Diplomacy and International Relations. She is a Director Policy at Diplomacy Scholars Association of Kenya (DIPSAK), a Board member of Nakuru Girls High School and a Mentor at Malindi Students Association (MAMSA), where she passionately and strategically leads, influence and inspire gender driven goals and community centered partnerships and collaborative involvement of all stakeholders. She has four publications in refereed journal and has also participated in joint research and exchange webinars and conferences. Jacklyne Aput is a part time lecturer at the Institute of Diplomacy and International Studies (IDIS), University of Nairobi.
She has obtained specialist scientific writing skills training at the Stellenbosch University and Grant Proposal Writing from University of Nairobi. Jacklyne Aput is a leader, an administrator and a scholar with standards and belief that her role and her desire to deliver professional and impactful services will be supported.
