ARTICLE 2
Objectives
1 - The main objectives of the Postdoctoral Programme are:

b) Promote the advancement and dissemination of scientific knowledge, as well as its translation into benefits for society in general;
c) Strengthen co-operation with other national or foreign professors and research institutions.
2 - In order to achieve these objectives, the interested candidate, when submitting their application, undertakes the following main commitments:
a) To integrate into the AUU International academic community, actively participating in the various activities carried out at this institution;
b) To publicise the results of the work carried out at AUU International in indexed publications that demonstrate their validation by the scientific community.

ARTICLE 6
Supervision
The post-doctoral work programme is carried out under the supervision of an AUU International professor or PhD researcher who is a specialist in the field of the work to be carried out, and the researcher must be integrated, as far as possible, into one or more of AUUI’s knowledge research centres.
ARTICLE 7
Submission of applications
1 - Applications for the Postdoctoral Programme are submitted to the AUUI Academic Director at academicdirector@auuinternational.org
2 - The application for admission, addressed to the AUUI Academic Director, must be accompanied by:

b) Declaration of acceptance by the proposed AUUI supervisor;
c) Proof of completion of the PhD;
d) The candidate’s Curriculum Vitae.
3 - The application referred to in No. 2 must include:

b) The intended start date and duration in months;
c) The name of the supervisor.
4 - In duly justified cases, the candidate may be advised by the AUUI Scientific Council to reformulate the work programme.
5 - Admission to the Postdoctoral Programme may be requested at any time of the year.

2 - Post-doctoral enrolment is carried out at AUUI’s Academic Services, within a maximum of 1 month of notification of the authorisation order.
3 - If, one month after approval, the candidate wishes to enrol, the Emoluments set out in the Emoluments table in force will apply as an “increase in fees for non- compliance with deadlines”.
4 - If, half a year after the approval of a post-doctoral application, no enrolment
has been made with the Academic Services, the approval lapses. 4
ARTICLE 10
Fees and tuition fees
1 - For enrolment, registration and attendance at the Postdoctoral Programme, fees and tuition fees are due in accordance with those established annually by the AUUI’s competent bodies. The current tuition fee for the entire Postdoctoral Programme is 3000 dollars with the amount of 1000 dollars to be paid at every registration year. The yearly registration fee is 150 dollars. The Certification fee is 200 dollars and the graduation fee is 150 dollars.
2 – The tuition fee payment referred to in the previous paragraph may be waived, partially, if the postdoctoral researcher contributes to research projects or carries out a relevant activity for AUUI. An exemption can be requested either at the beginning, with the application, considering the work plan to be submitted, or during or at the end of the period, taking into account the actual contributions.
ARTICLE 11
