On August 25, 2025,  African Union University, International - AUU International entered into an academic partnership with Global Interfaith University. This academic partnership was designed to foster academic collaboration through cooperation in teaching and research.

Global Interfaith University and AUU International will engage in collaborative faculty development programmes aimed at enhancing teaching methodologies, research skills, and academic leadership to enrich their expertise and contribute to the advancement of higher education, including Visiting Professorship programmes or Visiting Fellowship programmes; subject to mutual agreements.

Global Interfaith University and AUU International will organize joint conferences, workshops, and seminars that bring together scholars, researchers, and industry experts from both institutions for knowledge dissemination, networking, and collaboration.
