AUUI INTERIM FRAMEWORK TO GUIDE THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN AFRICAN UNION UNIVERSITY – AUU INTERNATIONAL AND ITS CONSORTIUM OF ACCREDITED PARTNER UNIVERSITIES

Following the submission of our letter introducing the TISBI-AUUI Joint Academic Programmes to the Ministry of Technical and Higher Education, Sierra Leone, in addition to the Academic Programmes offered by AUUI and its other Accredited Partners, including INTI International University – TISBI and Kennedy University, the AUUI Governing Council is pleased to formalize the Proposed Framework to guide the delivery of our Joint Programmes.

African Union University - AUU International and INTI International University Framework

·                     INTI International University is a leading comprehensive private research university in Malaysia, celebrated for its global academic partnerships, career-focused curriculum, and rapid climb in global education standings. ·                     African Union University – AUU International is part of the Kennedy University System as an accredited partner university, duly authorized to deliver academic programmes from Bachelor’s to Masters and Doctorate. Kennedy University is a higher education institution authorized by the French Ministry of National Education, Higher Education, Research and Innovation. It is the daughter University of Kennedy University of Baptist, a religious college annually verified by the Florida Department of Education in the United States. Following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between INTI and AUUI, the undersigned representatives of INTI and AUUI are pleased to formalize the Proposed Framework to guide the delivery of our Joint Programmes as follows:

1. Programmes Offered The INTI-AUU International Partnership operates a distance learning postgraduate online programme which is designed to specifically offer the following accredited programmes:

A. Master of Business Administration - Online Learning

B. Master in Education Management - Online Learning

C. Master of Science in Construction Management (Building Information Modelling) - Online Learning

D. Master in Information Technology - Online Learning

E. Master of Science in Facilities Management - Online Learning

F. Master of Science in Integrated Project Management - Online Learning

G. Doctor of Business Administration - Online Learning

2. Programme Duration & Mode of Study: For the mode of study and programme duration, the Master’s Degree is Full-time which runs for 1 year- 1 year 2 months | Online classes and the Doctorate Degree is Full-time running for 3 years | Online classes.

3. Language of Instruction: The language of instruction is English.

4. Nomination Criteria and Process: African Union University – AUU International will nominate prospective students for INTI International University distance learning online programme.

5. Application Requirement and Process: Upon receiving the list of nominees from AUU International, INTI will contact the nominees to complete an online application. The Required documentation is an Academic transcript (showing all years of study and grade average) - Copy of identification card/passport (main page) - Most recent passport photograph (white background) - Proof of English language ability (if required) - Highest academic qualification (i.e: Bachelor/Master) - Curriculum Vitae (CV) or resume

For Master programme application: - Bachelor’s Degree Certificate and Transcript - Consolidated marksheet; and - Diploma Certificate/High School Certificate

For DBA programme application: - Master Certificate - Bachelor’s Degree Certificate; and - Transcript/consolidated marksheet for both levels5.

6. Total Fees. The current tuition fee is RM2,000.00. The Nomination Fee and Dual Certificate Fee from AUU International also applies.

7. Fee Collection: INTI International University will collect its tuition fees and other applicable fees directly from the nominated and confirmed Students while AUU International will collect its nomination fee and the Dual Certificate Fee directly from the nominated Students. Where AUU International is also involved in the lecture activities, AUU International will collect all applicable fees on behalf of itself and INTI International University and distribute accordingly. The Fees due to AUU International will be received by its Parent Company (AUU International Academy) in Nigeria.

8. Course Enrolment: Course enrolment will be communicated to students a few days before class commences.

9. Publication of Results: Publication results will be communicated with students as we approach the end of the semester.

10. Intake Deferment a. Any student who is unable to enrol for the August 2026 intake as a result of delayed EMGS approval shall be deferred and enrolled in the October 2026 intake upon obtaining the necessary EMGS approval.

11. Student Visa Requirement a. All international students are required to obtain a student visa for studies in and from Malaysia.

12. EMGS Registration a. This is a mandatory process to ensure that students are properly registered with EMGS.

13. On-Campus Study a. This process does not enable the student to study on-campus.

14. Collaboration Mode: AUU International and INTI International University will deliver Academic Programmes/Courses via Joint Delivery, Dual Award / Double Degree, Franchise Mode, while allowing for Credit Transfer where applicable. This process will follow the highest quality assurance models.

African Union University - AUU International and the University of Management - TISBI Framework

Following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between TISBI and AUUI, TISBI and AUUI are pleased to formalize the Proposed Framework to guide the delivery of our Joint Programmes as follows:

1. The TISBI-AUU International Partnership operates a distance learning online programme which is designed for the purpose of this partnership with affordable fees; the current fees being 4000 dollars for Bachelor’s Degree Programmes, 2000 dollars for Masters Degree Programmes and 3000 dollars for Doctorate Degree Programmes.

2. The TISBI-AUU International Partnership also operates in-person programmes at the applicable fee rate which is much higher than the online degree programmes.

3. The TISBI-AUU International Partnership delivers innovative programmes for the graduates to stand out in the job market. We offer the Bachelor’s Degree in Software engineering (4 Years) and the Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism (4 Years). We also offer Master’s Degree (2 Years) in Sustainable Development Management, among other Innovative Courses as documented in our Handbook.

4. The language of instruction is Russian.

5. African Union University – AUU International will nominate prospective students for the University of Management – TISBI distance learning online programmes and the in-person programmes after an initial review of the duly filled application forms and receipt of nominal fees.

6. The University of Management - TISBI will directly contact the nominated students and handle the remaining part of the process of additional review, registration, lectures and assessment.

7. The University of Management - TISBI will collect its tuition fees and other applicable fees directly from the nominated and confirmed Students while AUU International will collect its nomination fee and the Dual Certificate Fee directly from the nominated Students. The Fees due to AUU International will be received by AUU International Parent Company (AUU International Academy) in Nigeria.

8. Applicants are required to fill out the TISBI application form containing all essential personal information, as well as details regarding the applicant’s previous education (place of study, period of study), accompanied by all relevant documents.

9. Applicants must complete a 6 months online course in Russian as a foreign language, followed by a 4-month preparatory course for admission to the chosen program.

10. Only after meeting Clauses 8 and 9 of these requirements will the applicant be officially admitted and become TISBI Students.

Kennedy University is a higher education institution authorized by the French Ministry of National Education, Higher Education, Research and Innovation. It is the daughter University of Kennedy University of Baptist, a religious college annually verified by the Florida Department of Education in the United States.

5. Award of Degrees: Upon the successful completion of the Students’ academic programmes at AUU International, AUUI will nominate Students to Kennedy University for the Award and Receipt of their Academic Degree.

6. Total Fees. The current fees being 4700 dollars for Bachelor’s Degree Programmes, 2700 dollars for Masters Degree Programmes and 3700 dollars for Doctorate Degree Programmes.

7. Fee Collection: African Union University - AUU International University will collect its tuition fees and other applicable fees directly from the nominated and confirmed Students. The Fees due to AUU International will be received by its Parent Company (AUU International Academy) in Nigeria.

This letter is prepared to be signed by authorized representatives of AUUI and to be circulated as a formal document. Copies will be provided to the Ministry, NCTVE and TEC, for their records and consideration.
