African Union University International (AUUI) has an established partnership with the National Council for Technical, Vocational and Other Academic Awards (NCTVA), Sierra Leone and other government agencies within Sierra Leone and Africa. The AUUI Committee for joint academic programmes and curriculum development comprises representatives from AUU International, the NCTVA, UNESCO, the AUU International Network of Accredited Partner Universities which includes but not limited to the University of Management - TISBI, Daaru Salaam University, Hamar University, Global Humanistic University, Global Interfaith University and Nightingale College and other government agencies charged with upholding the highest standards of quality assurance. The Committee works closely with Colleges and Universities in Sierra Leone in ensuring that the academic courses are innovative, relevant and impactful, and that the courses comply with the NCTVA standards and international standards.
The academic collaboration between the NCTVA, AUUI, UNESCO and its Network of Accredited Universities is aimed at enhancing teaching methodologies, research skills and academic leadership to contribute to the advancement of Academic Programmes, including exchange of faculty and Joint Certification, Diploma programmes and other academic programmes facilitated through NCTVA accredited institutions, UNESCO, AUU International and its Network of Accredited Partner Universities.
